Mail in hands, Steve walked to his trailer. For the first time in months, he realized the desolate state of his trailer. He opened the door and wrinkled his nose. The smell was unbearable. He got inside and took his so-called home in. ‘It would be best to torch all this,’ he thought.

ā€œDon’t even think about it, pal!ā€

Steve spun around. Nothing. He could have sworn it was his neighbor’s voice. He shook his head. ‘No more alcohol!’

He sat down on his cleanest chair and went through his mail. Two bills, a catalog, and a silken envelope. His name and trailer address were on it, and a stamp. Steve gingerly opened it. It solely contained a cream colored business card. It read ‘Call me’ in front, there were tiny black pixels at its lower margin. On its back was a mobile number. Weird.

Steve felt uncomfortable and decided to return to Whitelyn.
